Seriously, why can't all UK companies operate this efficiently?

I had a really disappointing time with this order. I was on the hunt for an MSR low level stove adaptor, and this company was claiming they had it in stock. So, I went ahead and placed my order and paid up. After waiting for the delivery period to pass, I reached out to them, only to find out they didn’t have any stock - and they didn’t even have it when I made my order. This is a clear case of misrepresentation, and I plan to escalate this issue to make sure others don’t go through the same hassle.

Exceptional service from beginning to end! I ordered a Mountain Equipment jacket as a gift for my partner. Facewest not only had the best deal - 20% off the RRP - but the jacket arrived quickly and even earlier than expected. Sadly, the item was a bit small, so I reached out to Facewest to set up an exchange. Since I live close to the warehouse, I was able to return it and pick up the new size in person. I did have to buy the larger size again, but they processed a refund for the original order right away. A reliable and friendly company - I wouldn't think twice about using them again.

I paid for a premium delivery option expecting to get a notification about a one-hour time slot the night before. I should've received that info either through email or SMS.

I opted for this service because I needed to organize my work schedule around the delivery day.

On the day of delivery, I reached out to Facewest since I hadn’t gotten any time slot details. I got a reply (from someone unnamed) saying that their website had incorrect info and it shouldn’t have stated that.

I asked for a refund on the premium delivery charge since Facewest misled me with wrong information, which influenced my decision to pay for that service. If I had known the truth, I wouldn’t have spent the extra cash.

Facewest refused to issue a refund - they mess up, take your money, and then just close the door on you.

STAY AWAY from this company!

I got myself a waterproof jacket - it was the lowest price I could discover after a thorough hunt. It showed up right on schedule, and the communication was top-notch. I'd definitely shop with Facewest again.

I got a rab coat, and the delivery was all good. The item turned out to be too large, so I needed to send it back. If you're not sure about the size, it might be better to ask someone else, 'cause you'll be footing the bill for returns yourself, and at nearly £10, that really adds up.
